The Process of the Treatment
In the preliminary assessment and throughout every meeting, the therapist assesses the difficulties and strengths of the client, during free conversation.
The treatment combines conversations with games of coordination, focusing the eyes and processing visual signals. A typical game that combines focusing the sight, hearing and motor coordination is throwing a ball between the therapist and the client while conducting a lively conversation about the client’s experiences and world. The diversion created by the conversation increases automatic skills of signal processing and emotional openness that facilitate the progress of the client.
The dynamics created during the treatment between the therapist and the client in exercises, conversations, eye contact and the sound of the voice weave the fabric that seals the gap between the senses and the cognitive system.
The therapist’s job is to be a lever lifting the client out from where he was, and from this moment onwards, there is no limit to his abilities
